Update #1 Our Kickstarter is live today!

Welcome to The Cascadier, our work in progress project from Enchanted Arcade. This is our first game and we are in very early development, launching our Kickstarter today (in the next few hours).
The game is inspired by Balatro and other casual rogue-lites, taking a seemingly mundane thing and adding elements of collection, interaction and repeat play to enjoy them on a new level. The game includes a mild narrative where you meet and interact with gods inside the arcade who are testing their gambits on mortals before they push them out to the entire world.
Meet Fortuna, the Custodian and Theodan as you play magical machines empowered by elemental ability cards earned through normal gameplay, and unlock Euphoria mode where the games visuals will increase as you do well at each play (not yet implemented). The music and VFX all mix together to provide a stunning visual and audio experience, rewarding players for progressing further.
The intent for the final game is to rogue-like through 8 elemental infused machines, each run ending when you run out of coins so if you get to a certain machine and then lose, you go back to the start and have to try again, but each time you play your progression will offer meta upgrades (not yet implemented) to increase the odds of success.
Please do note that this is an early concept demo and it is very buggy, so naturally it is going to break and be a bit weird in places.
We are a small team, bootstrapping this game on barely any money and have worked extremely hard just to get this early demo rolling. We would love any support you can offer and hope to hear lots of feedback (be harsh, we can take it) on what you would like to see in our game.
Thank you for downloading it and hope you can see the potential in what we want to achieve.
